In 2018, Captaine Sébastien Nativel, known as 'Babouc', member of the squadron Etr 3/4 'Aquitaine' is the new demonstrator pilot of 'rafale solo display' (or RSD).

The 'Babouc' is a species of spider that is found especially on the island of Reunion, from where the pilot of the Rsd comes. For the 2018 season, the Rafale 4-GI was repainted as the French air force ambassador, taking part to numerous airshows in through Europe. The scheme show the stylized shape of a spider, bright red, on a black background, on an original design by Régis 'Rage' Rocca.
