Aims - 1/32 Messerschmitt Bf-109G-1 conversion for Revell Bf-109G-1/R6 flown by the Kommandeur of II./JG 1 Hptm. G?nther Beise, April 1943, Jever, Germany. Note the black gun and exhaust/ wing root painting as well as the low down Rlm 04 cowl marking and that the unit badge has no coloured border. Machine otherwise is in the standard Rlm 74/75/76. Photos showing G-1-3 upper wings indicate that early G models still used the F model camouflage pattern. The aircraftalso exhibits over painting and Rlm 74 fill to fuselage cross much earlier than normally seen. Machine otherwise is in thestandard Rlm 74/75/76. earlier Jg 1 polished black spinner has been changed to include perhaps two large white sections andthe backing plate may well be red, being same contrast as fuselage band.
