Special Hobby - 1/72 Re-released!Heinkel He 178V-2 The He 178 V1 first jet aircraft was rebuilt to a He 178 V-2 version during the trials. The new plane was equipped with a bigger span wing and a retractable undercarriage. However, due to Luftwaffes command shortsighted decision not to continue with the development of weapons that could not assist in immediate victory in the war, the aircrafts development was put to halt and the plane was handed over to aviation museum in Berlin and was totaly destroyed in 1943 during an Allied air ride.The model of this second version of the first jet plane was also sold out a couple of years ago. Now it is getting back to our production together with the model of the first prototype. The model consists of two grey plastic sprues, clear injected canopy and two resin undercarriage bay parts.[ ] More...
