may be diluted with rc701/rc702 high compatibility thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints.

used for painting vehicles and other equipment of the german army from july 1937 until july 1940 as a complementary camouflage color to ral 7021 dunkelgrau (according to the official regulations, however, it appears that many military vehicles were painted in dunkelgrau only already during the polish campaign). According to the army regulations ral 7017 should cover 1/3 of vehicle’s surface in form of irregular patches with soft edges.
